We are a customer led company, developing access control and visitor ID and contractor management software solutions designed to meet the needs of our customers.

Our aim is to provide tailored solutions designed to help our customers enhance the safety and security of their premises.

AccessIT Data provides the means to track people or assets around, or on and off, your site. Our company products trade under the name Semieta, which means ‘tracking’ in Latin. Using a combination of software and hardware, we allow the user to determine their own method for recording visits, such as bar codes on badges, or prox cards, or biometric technologies.


Examples of our solutions

A major UK Rail Organisation required a system to track all railway contractors attending remote service sites to be fully approved against the up-to-date database and provide a real time profile of who was on site. We established a system to synchronise all contractors’ movements against the approved database, to provide instant checking of all contractors arriving on site, whilst maintaining full details centrally of who has arrived (or not arrived) for work.

Aylesbury College needed an access control solution, to control students coming onto campus, not only to minimise the costs of their security team, but also to guard against non-students arriving on site. Since deploying the system there has been a drop off in reported crime on site, whilst the collection of fees from students has improved sufficiently to pay for the system in just one year. We linked directly to the student database, to provide accurate real time information between the two systems.

One of London’s leading Art Colleges asked AccessIT to provide a turnstile solution to control unauthorized access into one its buildings. All students and staff will access the building using an access ID card integrated to operate the turnstiles and door access.

AccessIT Data has provided a new system to one of the major organisations behind the British team in its preparation for the Olympics. The solution will manage all visitors and provide an ID badge, for those attending the ever increasing number of meetings to be held at the clients premises, ahead of the 2012 Olympics.

A major UK Metals Recycling company has deployed Semieta Visitor Manager across a number of UK locations to ensure that only approved contractors are allowed on to site. Any contractor arriving at site for the first time will be shown a site induction video, prior to being permitted to enter the site. The solution is part of a wider initiative to know who is on site at all times and reduce the number of incidents previously recorded involving vehicles and pedestrians.

Two more major food manufacturing companies introduce Semieta Visitor Manager and Semieta Contractor Manager to meet the high demands of site control in this sector. Knowing who is site and where contractors are working is a major concern for these organisations and our applications help to ensure that only approved contractors gain access to each site.

Despite the current economic situation, AccessIT Data has seen a significant growth in business, reflecting the needs of companies in these difficult times to properly record the use of resources and make accurate decisions about cost control.
